Solomon Airlines offers 20% off return fares to Vanuatu in celebration of the nation’s 45th Independence Day.
Solomon Airlines is marking Vanuatu’s 45th Independence Day by launching a limited-time sale offering 20% off return airfares between selected ports and destinations in Vanuatu, including Port Vila and Espiritu Santo. The special fares are available for booking from now until 15 August 2025 or until sold out, with travel valid on selected dates through to 30 June 2026.
According to Solomon Airlines Commercial Manager, John Wopereis, the sale follows the airline’s recent Solomon Islands Independence Day promotion and reinforces its commitment to growing travel and tourism across the Pacific through partnerships with key destinations such as Brisbane and Auckland.
Wopereis encouraged travelers to act quickly as the discounted seats are limited. He said the fare promotion presents an ideal opportunity for travelers to plan ahead for their next getaway.
Vanuatu celebrates its Independence Day annually on 30 July. This year marks the country’s 45th anniversary of independence, and Solomon Airlines’ promotional fares are being offered in recognition of this national milestone.
Special return fares include Auckland to Port Vila starting from NZD $799 and Port Vila to Auckland from VUV 50,100. Brisbane to Santo fares start from AUD $675, while return fares from Santo to Brisbane start from VUV 53,010. These fares apply to selected travel dates between August 2025 and June 2026.
All flights are operated by Solomon Airlines’ Airbus A320 aircraft, which offers 12 Business Class and 138 Economy Class seats. The full-service airline includes a hot meal, a selection of beverages, and complimentary checked baggage—30 kilograms for Economy Class and 40 kilograms for Business Class—as well as standard cabin baggage allowances.
