Solomon Islands footballers feature in key FSA and NSW league matches in Australia, showcasing talent and gaining support.

Solomon Islands soccer forward Rovu Boyers will be among starters for his West Adelaide side against Fulham United in round 11 of the Football South Australia (FSA) State League One on Saturday.
He is among top five goal scorers of the FSA State League One and second highest scorer for his club with six goals after round 10.
West Adelaide is third on the ladder whilst Fulham are in fifth place going into this Saturday afternoon battle at the Kilburn Sportsplex in the northern suburb of Adelaide city.
Solomon Islands soccer defender William Komasi will also feature for his Adelaide Cobras side against Cove FC in another FSA State League One match on Saturday.
The Cobras who are ninth on the table enter this match with two successive defeats in round nine and 10 respectively. Cove FC is seventh on the table.
Another FSA State League One round 11 fixture later on Saturday will see Solomon Islands midfielder, Micah Lea’alafa in Vipers FC colours against Adelaide Olympic at the Apex Football Stadium in north Adelaide.
Vipers are currently in 10th place whilst their Saturday opponent Adelaide Olympic are in sixth position after round 10. Lea’alafa and company will be boosted with their improved nil all draw against Cumberland last weekend when taking on Olympic.
In the upper FSA National Premier League (NPL) level, Croydon FC which has Solomon Islander Junior David among its squad faces WT Birkala on Friday night at the Jack Smith Park in west Adelaide.
David started the last two rounds for Croydon FC on the bench and his side have dropped points in both round nine and 10 games. As such, round 11 match against WT Birkala is a ‘must win’ for the club formally known as ‘Polonia’.
Croydon are in seventh place whilst WT Birkala are in 11th position on the FSA NPL table.
Solomon Islands soccer defender Javin Wae is another player in the FSA NPL level for his club Campbelltown City who faces second place FK Beograd on Saturday.
Campbelltown are sixth on the ladder following their successive wins in the last three rounds. Wae has played in all their victories in round eight, nine and 10 following his return from injury.
Meanwhile in the New South Wales (NSW) NPL, Solomon Islands winger Raphael Leai is also expected to appear for his club Wollongong Wolves in a round 16 match against APIA Leichhardt FC.
The Wolves are determined to do well against Leichhardt following their round 15 defeat to Blacktown City last weekend.
Boyers, Komasi, Lea’alafa, David and Wae who are based in Adelaide, South Australia and Leai who is based in Wollongong, NSW are playing club football in Australia since January 2025. This was made possible through funding support from the Australia High Commission in Honiara, in partnership with the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF).
