The launching held last Friday, marked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between SINU and SINIS is a significant milestone in SINU’s journey towards enhancing the wellbeing, growth and the overall experience of every student within the university’s campuses.
SINU’s Manager of Business Investment and Commercial Services (BICS) and currently overseeing SINU’s Campus Life and Welfare Division programs, Samson Bisafo said the launching is more than the beginning of a program. It is a commitment to ensuring that their campus is not just a place of learning but a community where students feel supported, connected and empowered.
“At the heart of these activities is our belief that student’s welfare extends beyond the classroom. It is about nurturing the whole person physically, mentally, emotionally and socially,” said Bisafo.
“Our partnership with SINIS reflects a shared vision ‘to create opportunities for students to thrive through sport, wellness initiatives, social events and support services’. Together we are building a vibrant campus life that promote inclusivity, encourages participants and fosters a true sense of belonging.
“To all the students, this is for you. We encourage you to get involved, take advantage of the programs and activities on offer, and make the most of your time here [at SINU]. Whether it is through joining a club, participating in wellness programs or simply connecting with new friends, these experiences will shape not only your time on campus but your life beyond it.”
Mr Bisafo extend his heartfelt gratitude to SINIS for their collaboration and commitment to the University Campus Life and Welfare services.
“This journey reminds us that when we work together, we can create a meaningful and lasting change. With great excitement and optimism let us look forward to an amazing journey together,” said Bisafo.
