Namoraoni Cosmos Kindergarten celebrates end-of-year program with awards, performances, and student achievements
The Namoraoni Cosmos Kindergarten in Malango, Central Guadalcanal, held its end-of-academic-year program today, 26 November 2025, bringing together parents, guardians, teachers, and families to celebrate the academic milestones and achievements of its students.
Guest of honor, Ms. Rhoda Vari, a senior primary teacher at Betivatu Primary School, delivered a heartfelt message of gratitude. She encouraged graduates to maintain their curiosity, work diligently, and have faith in their abilities as they progress to Primary Pupil Year (PPY) next year.
“Graduates, as you move on to PPY next year, remember to keep your curiosity, keep trying your best, and keep believing in yourselves. You’re smart, strong, and full of wonderful potential. Today we celebrate your achievements; tomorrow we look forward to the amazing things you will do,” she said.
The Kindergarten Supervisor, Madam Judith Pelani, announced that 10 students would be transitioning to Betivatu Primary School, with others receiving year-end achievement awards. She noted that the school commenced on January 20th, 2025, with an enrollment of 24 students, of which 22 completed the academic year.
Madam Pelani highlighted the financial challenges faced by the school and appealed to parents and the school board for collaborative support. She expressed gratitude to parents and guardians for their unwavering support and sacrifice, which contributed significantly to the development of the young children celebrated today.
The closing ceremony featured a series of activities, including action songs, prize-giving, and presentation of certificates, marking a celebratory end to the academic year.
