RSIPF and CPLT engage over 200 Koa Hill locals in the China-SI Friendship Cup to mark SI’s 47th Independence Day.

The sport activity held, known as the ‘China-Solomon Island (SI) Friendship Cup,’ was organized from 8 to 11 July 2025, which engaged more than 200 community members with 30 different teams.
The games started with the airdropping of footballs with a drone, which brought glimpses of cheers and excitement for the participating teams.
The participating teams were full of energy and high in morale, and the spectators cheered one after another during the community engagement.
During the event, CPLT donated footballs, volleyballs, clothing, drinking water, and other supplies to the Koa Hill communities as they celebrated together to mark the 47th Independence Day of SI.

The football and volleyball competitions were also to warmly celebrate the 47th Independence Day of SI.
The event is one of the series of activities jointly promoted by CPLT and RSIPF to build a safe community as part of community engagement in SI.
