Quino to perform at Heritage Park Hotel’s New Year’s Eve countdown, supported by local bands One Tox, DMP and more.
Joaquin ‘Quino’ McWhinney, the singer of the hit song “Baby I Love Your Way,” has now arrived in Honiara ahead of his performance for the New Year’s Eve countdown at Heritage Park Hotel. Quino, best known for his work as the lead vocalist of the popular reggae band Big Mountain, will be performing in Honiara on New Year’s Eve, supported by popular local bands One Tox, DMP, and other bands and musicians.
Heritage Park Hotel’s General Manager, Sanjay Bhargava, confirmed that preparations are on track for the event, which will take place at the hotel’s car park venue on December 31st. The event is being hosted in partnership with Solomon Breweries.
Tickets for the event are currently available at Heritage Park Hotel, with VIP tickets priced at $300 and general tickets at $150. Bhargava expressed hope for favorable weather conditions for the event.
Honiara partygoers will have multiple options for ringing in the New Year. While Heritage Park Hotel offers a line-up featuring Quino, One Tox and DMP, the Pacific Crown Hotel will also host a celebration with popular local acts including Jahboy, Shrazy, Ramo, Baleh, Souljay, Buad, and Sean Rii /Dezine. Pacific Crown Hotel has promised a continuous music segment throughout the night.
With both venues offering entertainment from local and international musicians, Honiara is in for a vibrant celebration as the country prepares to usher in 2025.
