Nauru to bring its delegation for Miss Pacific Pageant in Honiara by charter flight. Miss Pacific will feature 8 contestants.
Nauru will charter a flight to Honiara for the highly anticipated Miss Pacific Pageant, scheduled to take place from February 1 to 8, 2025. This prestigious event will bring together contestants from across the Pacific, all competing for the coveted Miss Pacific crown. Organizers are expecting more than 200 attendees from across the region.
Among the eight contestants is Miss Nauru, Charlei Andrianna Deiye, a multilingual designer. Charlei recently won the Best Designer award at the Miss Aoreni Best Traditional Design 2024 in Nauru, showcasing her talent and commitment to traditional arts and design. She is one of the key contestants to watch in this year’s competition.
The latest addition bringing the number of contestants to eight is Miss Cook Islands. The eight contestants in the 2025 Miss Pacific Pageant come from diverse backgrounds, each bringing unique skills and experiences. Among them are a climate activist, a lawyer, an educator, and a professional model. These women embody the pageant’s 2025 theme, “Leadership in Diversity and Adversity,” showcasing leadership across various fields.
Nauru previously hosted the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant in 2024, marking a historic milestone for the nation. The event, held from January 28 to February 4, 2024, celebrated the cultural diversity and unity of the Pacific, with contestants from Samoa, Tonga, Papua New Guinea, and other Pacific countries. Solomon Islands did not participate in last year’s Miss Pacific Pageant.
By chartering a flight to Honiara for its delegation, Nauru reaffirms its commitment to supporting the 2025 Miss Pacific Pageant. The event remains an important platform for celebrating the achievements, culture and leadership of women from across the Pacific.
Tickets for the crowning night will be available at various price points. General admission tickets will be sold for SBD 200, while tickets that include dining will cost SBD 1,000.
