
Oliver Salopuka clarifies he is no longer a director of LSL and RIPEL effective 17 May 2026.
THE Minister for Lands, Housing and Survey, OliverSalopuka has today clarified his position regarding his former directorships in Lever SolomonsLimited (LSL) and RIPEL.
Minister Salopuka confirms that he formally ceased to be a director of both Lever Solomons Limited
and RIPEL effective from 17 May 2026 prior to assuming his ministerial duties.
Responding to a media statement from the Opposition Group, he said the company records have not
yet been updated to reflect these changes.
“I wish to make it clear that I am no longer a director of Lever Solomons Limited or RIPEL. My
resignation took effect on 17 May 2026,” Salopuka said.
He further explained that the process of updating official records with the Registrar of Companies is
currently underway.
“I am aware that the company’s legal representatives have met with the Registrar earlier this week
to facilitate the formal update of records. I am advised that the Registrar is awaiting submission of
the relevant company resolution minutes from LSL and RIPEL to complete this process,” he added.
Minister Salopuka emphasized that any delay in the Companies Haus records being updated is
purely administrative and does not reflect his current status.
