Terewauri Appointed Deputy City Mayor and New Appointments Also Made to Various Standing Committees Within Honiara City Council by Minister The Honiara City Council (HCC) has a new Deputy City Mayor. Clement Terewauri has been appointed as Deputy Mayor of Honiara City Council, effective May 24, 2024 . This appointment was made under section 7(2) of the Honiara City Act 1999 by the Minister for Home Affairs, Isikeli Tuwai Vave. following the advice of the Mayor. Celement Terewauri is the Councillor for Mataniko Ward in Central Honiara.
