
Prime Minister Matthew Wale arrives in Washington, D.C., for high-level meetings with United States officials and agencies.
Prime Minister Matthew Wale has arrived in Washington, D.C., ahead of a series of high-level bilateral engagements scheduled for this week.
As part of the official program, Wale is expected to meet with United States Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau on Monday, as discussions continue on strengthening Solomon Islands–United States relations.
The Prime Minister is also scheduled to hold meetings with senior officials from the Development Finance Corporation, the Millennium Challenge Corporation, and the Peace Corps.
The discussions will focus on development cooperation, economic opportunities, and shared priorities between Solomon Islands and the United States.
Following his arrival in Washington, D.C., Wale met with his delegation to discuss key objectives and priorities ahead of the scheduled engagements.
The visit forms part of ongoing efforts to strengthen international partnerships and explore opportunities that support national development priorities.
