Annual Membership Applications Now Open
Solomon Airlines has announced the details of its upgraded Belama Club Membership program, inviting potential members to explore the benefits. The annual membership application process commenced on December 27th, offering individuals the opportunity to enjoy an array of exclusive privileges.
A significant feature of the new Belama Club Membership is the inclusion of access to the recently inaugurated Belama Lounge at Honiara International Airport. The lounge, designed to accommodate up to 40 guests, was officially opened in November in anticipation of the Pacific Games. It is strategically located in the departure terminal, adjacent to the international departure gates. The lounge boasts modern decor, featuring comfortable leather sofas and armchairs alongside traditional artworks from the Solomon Islands.
Among the amenities offered are complimentary food and beverages, free wireless internet, a television, and a flight information screen. Modern restrooms are also provided, ensuring a comfortable experience for travelers before their flights.
Solomon Airlines has expressed its commitment to honoring the memberships of former Belama Club members with remaining validity as of March 2020. This gesture acknowledges the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to the closure of Solomon Islands international borders.
The Belama Club Membership is available in two tiers: the standard ‘Belama Club’ at SBD$3995 per year and the premium ‘Belama Plus’ at SBD$7995 per year. Both tiers offer various entitlements, including priority check-in, complimentary standard seat selection, and express clearance in Brisbane. The ‘Belama Plus’ membership further includes benefits for one adult and up to two children (2-11 years) accompanying the member, along with an additional 10kgs of total international checked baggage allowance.

Membership benefits are applicable exclusively to services marketed and operated by Solomon Airlines only.
