Asphalting to begin on Rifle Range Road; traffic changes and driveway access measures in place this weekend.
The CCECC and MID Project Management Team of the Rifle Range Road Improvement Project wishes to inform the public and all stakeholders that asphalting works will soon commence on the seaside portion of the Rifle Range Road section, located in front of residential properties.
Prior to the laying of asphalt, a prime coat will be applied to enhance adhesion between the road base and the new asphalt surface. The application of the prime coat will be conducted in two phases:
- Phase One: Application on one lane along the median side, commencing Saturday afternoon and drying overnight.
- Phase Two: Application on the outer lane Sunday afternoon.
To ensure uninterrupted access to residences, dry sand will be placed in front of all driveways during this process.
In line with these activities, one-way traffic will be implemented from Saturday afternoon until Monday morning. Entry to the area will be permitted only through the east side, while exit will be via the west side of Rifle Range Road.
Residents and motorists are kindly requested to observe all traffic management measures in place for their safety and to facilitate the timely completion of the works.
