Litara Ieremia Alan from Samoa is crowned the new Miss Pacific Islands, succeeding Moemoana Safato’a Schwenke.
The 2025 Miss Pacific Islands Pageant has concluded, with Litara Ieremia Alan from Samoa being crowned the new Miss Pacific Islands. Known for her charisma, Litara represented Samoa with great pride, carrying the hopes of her nation as she competed. She impressed the judges with her poise, eloquence, and commitment to her advocacy, succeeding the reigning queen, Moemoana Safato’a Schwenke, also of Samoa. Litara will now serve as a regional ambassador, promoting Pacific values and cultural exchange.
The event, held in Honiara, brought together eight contestants from across the Pacific, each proudly representing their nations. The competition, which ran from February 1-8, centered around the theme “Leadership in Diversity and Adversity.” Reflecting on the pageant as a host, the Miss Solomon Islands Pageant emphasized that this year’s event was not just about the crown but the journey of sisterhood. Throughout the week, the contestants formed strong bonds of connection, with shared experiences from introductions, a lively float parade, and heartfelt speeches. She congratulated the contestants and extended her best wishes to the new Miss Pacific Islands. As part of her farewell, she performed a final act with the Dreamcast team, including a fire dance.
