Canoe Lager Honiara City Dart League 2026 launches with a record 43 teams competing across three divisions.
The Canoe Lager Honiara City Dart League 2026 is officially underway after it’s official launch by the Honiara City Dart Association (HCDA) on Sunday night at the Pacific Crown Hotel.
Adding sparkle to the season, Solomon Breweries Limited returned as platinum sponsor, proudly securing the naming rights once again.
The league registered a record-breaking 43 teams — the biggest turnout ever, cementing darts as the heartbeat of Honiara’s community sport scene.
HCDA President Eldine Devesi hailed the milestone while acknowledging Solomon Breweries Limited continued support: “For us HCDA, the number of teams taking part comes with responsibility. We want strong competition on the dart board, but away from the board we want this league to continue building friendships between players, clubs, workplaces and communities.
“We also want to acknowledge Solomon Breweries for supporting the league and sharing our confidence on what this competition can become. We genuinely appreciate that support.”
Meanwhile, Solomon Breweries Limited Commercial Manager Allan Kwarara emphasized inclusivity: “We want this league to be more than competition — it’s all about community engagement, bringing people together through the sport of darts. We are always happy to support whenever we can.”
The stage is set for Week One fixtures, with action already underway across the Premier Division, Division One, and Corporate Division.
The competition will be played in a single round robin for regular season. Top 8 teams from each divisions advance for post season playoffs and finals.
