2025 beacons yet another busy year for the Solomon Islands Football Federation (SIFF) as they get ready to tackle another hefty calendar.
SIFF Competitions Director, Gerald Oiaka said despite a busy year ahead, starting in the first quarter through to the last quarter of this year, they look forward for a good year.

“SIFF will be hosting three OFC championships, three national championships, as well as numerous mandatory domestic leagues,” the Competitions Director said.
“The first one regional championship is the OFC men’s champions league, from March 30th to April 12.

“The OFC men’s U16 championship on August 15th to the 30th of August.
“OFC Futsal men’s championship from September 20th to the 24th at the Friendship Hall.
“Mandatory domestic leagues SIFF will be hosting this year are the S-League (formerly known as the TSL), Solaris Women’s Premier League (SWPL), U18 leagues for men and women and the U15 youth leagues for boys and girls,” he said.
Three national championships are also confirmed to be hosted this year.
The Iumi Plei U14 championship confirmed for June during the school mid term holidays and the postponed Solomon Cup tournament.
Date for kick off is now set to July 7th to the 26th.
SIFF is also set to create history domestically when they host the first ever women’s Solomon Cup tournament from November 16th to the 30th,
“It’s going to be a busy year in hosting these events and we look forward for a good year for football here in our country,” Oiaka said.
